ROCKVILLE, Md. – March 10, 2011 – NetStar-1 Government Consulting Inc. (NetStar-1) has named Pierre Monacelli as Vice President of Operations for its Management Consulting Division. In this position, Monacelli will report directly to CEO Kevin Rowe and will have management responsibility for NetStar-1’s contracts with federal clients including U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the Office of Personnel Management, and others.
Monacelli brings over 25 years of experience in management consulting to his new responsibilities, including development and execution of business strategies and the planning, execution, and management of complex programs in both industry and government. He previously was President of the Government Services practice at consulting firm Robbins-Gioia, Inc.
At NetStar-1, Monacelli will work with the company’s executive leadership to define and develop a strategy to rapidly expand NetStar-1’s government presence and range of service offerings. Adding Monacelli to its management team is the latest step in a strategic reorganization for NetStar-1 that began last year with the divestiture of its IT and Commercial Services divisions.
“As NetStar-1 grows, we will leverage our singular focus on management consulting services by expanding on our current offerings in the areas of program management, financial management, and program governance,” said CEO Kevin Rowe. “We plan to develop additional service offerings in the areas of business and IT requirements definition, IT strategy, business process redesign, and enterprise risk management. In addition, we intend to expand our government footprint and deliver these services to a broader array of government agencies.” Rowe added, “Pierre’s broad consulting service experience, his experience leading large organizations, and his inclusive and team-oriented leadership style will help to move NetStar-1 swiftly and successfully towards achieving these strategic goals.”
